BIG PLANS
We had a planning meeting last night. I have to say that we sure are productive! We have big plans for Signs of Faith as long as God is willing! We want to glorify HIM starting around the country. Wouldn't it be great if we could do this around the world?
Evangelizing, glorifying, making a difference in people that are deaf, hard of hearing and hearing alike!
Our first order of business is to raise funds. This will allow us to get bigger and better. To spread the word. To share the joy!
Keep your eye on us, join us, support us and most importantly.... PRAY for us!
Isaiah 25:1 O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

We are not alone
Signs of Faith is not the only sign language language choir glorifying God. There are groups all over the United States that have this pleasure. We manage to get some of them up here for our annual celebration.
This past year (2010) we had Yleanna Mercado, REZ Signers, SonRise Signers, Hands 2 Heaven Signers and Handprints. We all have different styles but the same goals. Here is a wonderful song by Chris Tomlin called "I will rise".

This song was worked on by each group independently until the night before the celebration where we all came together.

Kiwanis Stars of Tomorrow
Five of our teens entered the Kiwanis Stars of Tomorrow Talent Show to compete for scholarship money. They worked very hard, critiquing and improving their skit Dear X by Disciple, for months.

While the kids didn't win the money, they won a few other things so much more important. They won the ability to glorify God in front of so many people. They reached and spread the Word to a group of people that may have never been reached. They represented Signs of Faith and got a warm and excited response.
